Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actor. Kellie Martin has appeared in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy" which is a drama about a young woman named Christy Huddleston. Also, she is known for being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin's acting journey began when she was just seven, when an aunt a former nanny who cared for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure an appearance as a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' Following her graduation at Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness, landing roles on both the small screen and big. Martin has a background as an actor, as well as an accomplished photographer and dancer, has been working in the field for the past 20 years. A mother of two, she's the official spokesperson for Lupus and is constantly informing people about the illness since her sister died of it in just 19.
